Never hang up. When you are on the phone with us, you are our eyes and ears. Try to stay calm so we can best understand you. Until you are instructed to do so, stay on the line so that you can provide any necessary information or updates to us or so that we can instruct you on how to best keep safe during the situation. Location is sometimes an obstacle in effectively responding to emergencies. We want you to have the highest quality of help by being able to send you the right help to the right location when you need it the most. Having additional information may save us seconds in responding to your call, and seconds can save lives.

Your Emergency Profile will provide 911 with information that often isn’t available when you call 911.

Your Emergency Profile will provide 911 with:

Your name
Your birthday
Your medical information
Your emergency contact information
Any other pertinent information that you want 911 to know (like your garage door code, any children living in your house, any pets in your house, etc.)

Your information cannot be searched or viewed outside of the phone number associated with the profile dialing 911.

How it works

Sign up and create a free Emergency Profile.
Each profile is associated to one cell phone number. Every member of your family who has a phone number should create an account.
In the event of an emergency, call 911.
Your Emergency Profile is automatically sent to 911 through an application that is used in 90% of all 911 centers across the United States, including the Rice & Steele 911 Center.
